Where we process employee data on behalf of a client company, that client is the data controller and we act as a processor under their instructions.
What we collect
From this website
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. This website uses no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
From business customers
Company name, contact names, email addresses, telephone numbers and billing details.
From employees of our customers, on the customer’s behalf
- Name, employee code, job title, department and branch
- Work email address and telephone number, where provided
- NFC card or badge identifiers
- Attendance events — check-in and check-out timestamps
- Approximate location at the moment of check-in, only where the customer has enabled geofencing
- Shift assignments, leave records and overtime records
- Salary or wage figures, where the customer uses payroll reporting
Why we collect it
- To provide the attendance, leave, overtime and payroll functions our customers subscribe to
- To authenticate users and keep accounts secure
- To detect and investigate misuse or security incidents
- To provide technical support
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
Location data
Where a customer switches on location checking, the browser may report an approximate position at the moment of check-in or sign-in. It is used only to decide whether that single event happened inside an area the customer has defined. There is no continuous tracking, and nothing is collected when the feature is off. Browser location is treated as advisory: we record it, flag anything implausible, and never present it as proof of physical presence.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only: they keep you signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and this site loads no external fonts, scripts or content delivery networks.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with our hosting and infrastructure providers under contract, with professional advisers where necessary, and with authorities where the law requires it.
Retention
We keep attendance and HR records for as long as the customer’s account is active, and afterwards only as long as employment, tax and accounting law requires. Customers may request deletion of their data at any time.
Security
Encrypted connections throughout, role-based access controls, audit logging of sensitive actions, rate limiting against automated attacks, and access restricted to personnel who need it to provide support.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to request portability.
If you are an employee of one of our customers, please direct these requests to your employer, who controls your data. We will assist them in responding. For data we control, contact manager@nfc.ae.
Changes
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
